The compact full-frame body that anchored the Cinema Line: a 12.1MP low-light sensor, internal 4K up to 120p, and 5-axis IBIS. In May 2025 Sony quietly refreshed it as the FX3A (ILME-FX3A): a sharper 2.36M-dot rear LCD, with NFC and the infrared remote receiver removed; everything else is unchanged. There is no separate 'FX3 II'; the next FX body, the FX5, sits a tier above the FX3 rather than replacing it directly.
